About ESEA

The E-Services Excellence Award is an annual award ceremony organized by Dubai Trade in order to reward and recognize the best performers in e-Services adoption on the Dubai Trade portal. The ESEA features a new theme every year which targets a particular e-service with the main aim of encouraging the conversion to e-services, and award the highest performers.

In 2008, Dubai Trade announced its first ESEA collaboration with LOG.LEO, as it awarded the best performer in the e-Service available on Dubai Trade's portal known as e-Token. e-Token is an innovative gate online booking system in which traders and transporters can generate online tokens (entry permits) for transporting their containers to and from Jebel Ali Port, therefore eliminating the need to physically visit documentation centres and wait in line for hours.

In 2009, Dubai Trade proudly organized the ESEA on its own, awarding the 5 best performers in the Rosoom e-payment service, another popular online service available on the Dubai Trade Portal. Rosoom enables you to pay your DP World and Free Zone charges online, thus once again eliminating the need to visit counters, which thereby allows you to utilize your time & effort more productively.

Last year in 2010, the Dubai Trade ESEA ceremony was held under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashin Al Maktoum, and was attended by H.H Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, who awarded the 6 best performers from the diverse trading and supply chain companies that have growed in adopting  their use of e-services offered on the Dubai Trade Portal.
