Leading Dubai Trade to become the innovative trade and supply chain e-hub of the world, Mahmood Al Bastaki has played a major role in the advancement of e-business in the region. An expert in e-commerce solutions, Al Bastaki served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Dubai World Corporate Departments before taking up his current position as the CEO of Dubai Trade FZE. Al Bastaki was appointed as an Advisor for the Dubai Expo 2020 bid team and is a Member of The UAE National Committee of World Trade Organization. He is also the president of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport - UAE Board of Trustees and an Advisory Board Member in the “National Association of Freight and Logistics - NAFL”.
Fayez MaarrawiFayez is the Head of Commercial in Dubai Trade who leads the Products & Accounts, Business Solutions, and Marketing & Communications teams with the objective of enriching the organization’s portfolio of products and services and growing its revenue and profitability, while maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.Prior to Commercial, he headed Dubai Trade Operations for 8 years where he provided strategic and operational level advisory to the executive management board and was directly responsible for managing the core business operations to ensure the highest levels of service excellence through managing the Information Technology, Contact Centre, and Training activities; and planning, managing, and bearing responsibility for the company’s technology assets and investments.
Ravi KumarRavi Kumar is the Head of Strategy & Innovation at Dubai Trade. He has international experience in Trade Facilitation, e-Governance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Financial Services and Insurance domains. He has been instrumental in developing many pioneering initiatives in Dubai such as the Dubai eGovernment’s “ePay” and Dubai Trade’s “Rosoom” ePayment gateways. Prior to joining Dubai Trade, he worked to set-up a 4PL joint venture in the Middle East and was a consultant to Fortune 500 companies in the financial services and insurance sectors both in the Middle East and United States.
